We had the opportunity to work with Raise Your Hand right as this organization was introducing themselves to the Chicago community. They needed distinctive materials to reach out to parents of Chicago Public School system, local constituents and donors to help raise awareness to make change within the school system. It was a fun opportunity to help develop content that raised awareness around public schooling issues.

As a parent there is a deluge of information thrown out about the Public school environment. It is overwhelming to understand the core issues that affect their child’s education. We decided to work with data to illustrate some key issues as handouts that could be printed at school or by parents to pass out to others. Our intention was to make this easy to digest and also inviting enough to engage other parents to advocate for better outcomes.
